Final entries confirmed for European Cup 10000m

The top three athletes from both the men's and women's category will earn direct qualification to the 2010 European Athletics Championships to be held in Barcelona, Spain, between 26 July and 1 August.
Spain's José Manuel Martínez, 2002 European Athletics 10000m gold medallist and 2006 silver medallist, will compete alongside top names such as Briton Mo Farah and Rui Pedro Silva of Portugal in the 51- strong men's field.
In the women's race, two-time London Marathon winner Irina Mikitenko of Germany will be competing against the likes of compatriot Sabrina Mockenhaupt, Portuguese duo Sara Moreira and Inês Monteiro Ana Dias and Christelle Dauney of France among others in a field composed of 39 athletes.
