Final entries confirmed for the European Mountain Running Championships in Sapareva Banya

European Athletics is pleased to confirm the final entries for the European Mountain Running Championships to be held in Sapareva Banya, Bulgaria, on 4 July.

243 athletes from 26 Member Federations are set to participate in the senior and junior category races for both men and women.

Ahmet Arslan of Turkey completed a hat-trick by winning the men's title at the last edition of the European Mountain Running Championships in the Austrian village of Telfes im Stubai. The gold medal in the senior women's category went to the 22-year-old Swiss mountain runner Martina Strähl.
