European Athletics Congress, London 2011

The European Athletics Congress 2011 (European Athletics and EAF) will take place on Saturday 16 April 2011 in London/GBR. The Congress will deal with the elections of the European Athletics Council and Committees for the next four years, proposals from the Council and Member Federations and the date and place of the next Congress and Conventions.

The European Athletics Congress is the general assembly of the Members and the supreme authority of the European Athletic Association.
The Congress consists of the Council and delegates of the Members. Each Member has one vote.
An Ordinary Congress is held once every two years in years that end with an odd number during the months of April or May.
Elections take place at each Ordinary Congress held in the year immediately preceding each summer Olympic Games.
The next European Athletics Congress will take place in London, Great Britain on April 16, 2011. The Congress will deal with the elections of the European Athletics Council and Committees for the next four years, proposals from the Council and Member Federations and the date and place of the next Congress and Conventions.
