![]() The European Athletics Coaching Awards recognise and celebrate the important contributions made by coaches to the sport of athletics. The coach of each European Champion in the senior category is automatically nominated for the award. In addition, all 50 European Athletics Member Federations are asked to nominate one additional male coach and one additional female coach per year based on the criteria “excellence in coaching”. The nominations are confirmed by a European Athletics appointed jury, which includes a representative of the European Athletics Coaches Association. 2011's first awards will be given to representatives (one male and one female) of the all the winners during the European Athletics Awards Night, presented by Mondo, in Arona, Spain, on 15 October. The two representatives will be selected by the jury. |
