The 2014 European Athletics Convention takes place in Baku, Azerbaijan, this coming weekend.
The 10-12 October Convention, which will be held at the JW Marriot Hotel, is designed to better support the 50 European Athletics Member Federations, offering opportunities for education, networking and socialising, along with the usual meetings and calendar planning activities.
The European Athletics Calendar Conference is scheduled for the morning of Friday followed by an official lunch hosted by the local organising committee, with the afternoon given over to the Women in Athletics Forum.
A Euromeetings Board Meeting and General Assembly will takes place on the sidelines of the Convention on Friday.
The European Athletics Member Federation Leaders Forum is set for Saturday morning followed by a lunch hosted by IAAF.
The Golden Tracks gala evening, at which the European Athletes of the Year and Rising Stars of 2014 will be honoured, takes place Saturday evening at the Fairmont Hotel, located in the iconic Flame Towers in Baku.
