The Brooks 10K Champions Run, held on the final day of the European Athletics Championships on 10 July 2016, mirrors the half marathon course that will guide runners through the city of Amsterdam.
“By adding this mass participation event to the programme we intend to include more runners and fans from across the continent to be part of the European Athletics Championships.

“This mass participation event is a great opportunity to connect the high performance level with grassroots activities in collaboration with organising partner Le Champion,” said CEO of Amsterdam 2016 Rien van Haperen.
