The entry standards for the Jerusalem 2022 European Athletics U18 Championships have been approved and published and can be found here.
The 2022 championships will be the third edition of this event and will come after a hiatus of four years caused by the pandemic which forced the postponement and then cancellation of the championships which were initially due to be held in Rieti in 2020.
Approximately 1200 athletes are expected to compete in next year’s event which will take place in the renovated National Stadium which can seat just under 400 spectators.
The last edition of the championships in Gyor 2018 was highlighted by world U18 best performances by Spain’s Maria Vicente in the heptathlon and Ukraine’s Mykhaylo Kokhan in the hammer
