Have your say on who should be crowned this year’s European Athletes of the Year and be in with the chance of winning some exclusive prizes!
The Golden Tracks award ceremony takes place in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia on 26 October when the European Athletes of the Year and Rising Stars will be announced and presented with their trophies at a glittering award ceremony which will be live streamed on the European Athletics YouTube channel.
The nominees for all four categories will be announced across social media over the next two days. The 10 men’s and women’s Rising Star nominees will be announced on Thursday (19) followed by the 10 men’s and women’s European Athlete of the Year nominees on Friday (20).
The voting process is made up of four parts and the three finalists in all four categories, men's and women's European Athlete of the Year and men's and women's Rising Star, will be announced on 8-9 October.

- Member Federation vote (25 percent)
- Media vote (25 percent)
- European Athletics expert panel vote (25 percent)
The public vote takes place through a voting platform on the European Athletics website (registration required) where fans will be able to cast their vote in all four categories. The deadline to cast your vote is 23:59 CET on Sunday 29 September.
For the second year in succession, Femke Bol and Jakob Ingebrigtsen from the Netherlands and Norway respectively were crowned European Athletes of the Year in 2023 while Serbia’s Angelina Topic and Italy’s Mattia Furlani won the Rising Star trophies.
