The Slovakian spa town of Dudince, which boasts a rich tradition of race walking, will host the 2013 edition of the biennial European Cup Race Walking event. The European Athletics Council awarded the event to the Slovakian town during its autumn meeting on 3-5 November in Helsinki, the host city of the 2012 European Athletics Championships.
