Following five editions of Women in World Athletics (WIWA) and two editions of Women's Leadership seminars, European Athletics is very pleased to announce the launch of the Women's Leadership Webinar series which will take place across the first two weekends of July.
Over 140 women from more than 20 European countries across all sectors of the sport will actively participate in the first ever online Women's Leadership webinar delivered by European Athletics. The participants have all been selected by their respective Member Federations.
Thirteen moderators, many of whom participated in the European Athletics Women’s Leadership Moderator Seminar in Belgrade in December, are participating and will be offering national webinars in their respective native languages.
Additionally European Athletics will be offering a centralised course which will be delivered by two Women's Leadership moderators: Great Britain’s Donna Fraser, a three-time Olympian as well as a world and European championships medallist, and Germany’s Katrin Heyers who is promoting the European Athletics Women's Leadership activities.
Besides providing the women with a platform to engage and network, one of the main priorities of the webinar series is to support and encourage women across European Athletics Member Federations to develop as leaders in their fields.
