The final entries for the 2024 European Athletics U18 Championships in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia from 18-21 July have been published and can be found below.
Every session will be streamed live with English-language commentary through the European Athletics website which will be accompanied by three additional feeds providing dedicated field event coverage.
Who to watch in Banska Bystrica next week?
Some of the prospective stars of the championships include Italians Daniele Inzoli, who has jumped a world age-15 best of 7.90m in the long jump this season, Elisa Valensin - a 23.15 performer in the 200m - and Serena Di Fabio, who holds the world U18 lead in the 5000m race walk with 22:16.77.
Also watch out for the Poles Anastazja Kus and Roch Krukowski. Kus has improved to 52.26 in the 400m this season and Krukowski threw a lifetime best and world U18 lead of 80.60m in the javelin (700g) at the Polish U18 Championships this weekend.
One of the most exciting clashes of the championships could be the men's 200m featuring Great Britain's Jake Odey-Jordan and Italy's Diego Nappi, both of whom can already boast lifetime bests of 20.55 and 20.79 respectively.
European U18 800m record-holder Phoebe Gill has opted to miss the championships after qualifying for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with her victory at the British Championships but another precocious Brit in 15-year-old Shaikira King - who clocked 2:01.71 this weekend - takes up the mantle of favourite.
A first gold medal for Slovakia incoming?
In total, 13 athletes who lead the world U18 lists in their respective events will be competing including home favourite Laura Frlickova who has clocked 13.14 for the 100m hurdles (76.2cm). Incidentally, Slovakia has never won a gold medal in the short history of the European Athletics U18 Championships which was held for the first time in 2016.
Other notable names on the entry-list include Romania's Alexandra Stefania Uta (400m hurdles) and Estonia's Miia Ott (100/200m), both of whom competed at the European Athletics Championships in Rome last month.
Uta also won bronze in the 400m hurdles at the European Athletics U20 Championships last year at the age of 15 which made her the youngest medallist at the championships. Ott has already been part of numerous Estonian 4x100m relay teams in senior events and has a 11.53 PB for 100m.
In-depth previews will be published on the European Athletics website from Friday (12) onwards and there will be full and comprehensive coverage of the championships on the European Athletics website and across our social media channels.
Daily highlights recapping the best of the action will also be uploaded to the European Athletics YouTube channel after the conclusion of each evening session.
