The final entries for the Tallinn 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships from 15-18 July have been published and can be found here.

The entry-list features one reigning champion from Boras 2019 in Alida van Daalen from the Netherlands. As well as defending her discus title, Van Daalen has also entered the shot put.

The entry-list also features 12 athletes who lead the world U20 lists in their respective events including 17-year-old Anthony Ammirati from France who has cleared 5.72m in the pole vault and 18-year-old Mykolas Alekna, the son of 2000 and 2004 Olympic champion Virgilijus, who has improved to 69.77m with the 1.75kg discus.

Other world leaders at U20 level to compete in Tallinn include Belgium’s Jente Hauttekeete (decathlon), Finland’s Silja Kosonen (hammer) and Greece’s Elina Tzengko (javelin), all of whom have set world U20 records.

The European Athletics U23 and U20 Championships will be streamed live in their entirety through the European Athletics website with English-language commentary.

The article has been updated to reflect reigning 200m champion Amy Hunt from Great Britain will not be competing in Tallinn.
