Over 70 coaches will gather at Sport City in Manchester for a star studded gathering of some of Europe’s - and the world’s - top hurdles experts. Represented on the day will be coaches from all over Europe including Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Israel, Hungary, Portugal, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden and more.

The latest guest speaker to be added to the line-up is world record-holder in the 400m hurdles Kevin Young from the United States, the 1992 Olympic champion and 1993 world champion. Young set the existing world record of 46.78 in the final of the 1992 Olympic Games and he is currently studying for a master’s degree in sports integrity and ethics at the University of Swansea.

Other standout speakers at the three day conference include Danish head coach Mikkel Larsson, British Athletics High Performance Coach Benke Blomquist, renowned British coach Nick Dakin and German national team coach Jan Mey. The programme also includes a question and answer session with 2010 European 110m hurdles champion Andy Turner.
