The social media vote for the men’s and women’s Rising Stars and European Athletes of the Year will close across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram at 12:00pm CET on Friday 18 October.
The votes across the three platforms will be added up to determine the social media vote which accounts for 25 percent of the overall voting process. There is still just over two days to cast your vote and one like, share or retweet on any platform is the equivalent of one vote.
The media vote, the Member Federations vote and the European Athletics Expert Panel vote each accounts for 25 percent of the voting process as well.
From an initial list of 10 nominees in each category, three finalists per award will be unveiled across social media and the winners will be announced and presented with their trophies at the Golden Tracks award ceremony in Tallinn on Saturday 26 October which will be streamed live on the European Athletics website.

Treble European champion Dina Asher-Smith and world decathlon record-holder Kevin Mayer were crowned European Athletes of the Year in Lausanne, Switzerland last summer. European 100m hurdles champion Elvira Herman was named women's Rising Star while the men's equivalent was shared by Norway's Jakob Ingebrigtsen and Sweden's Armand Duplantis.
As well as the Athlete of the Year and Rising Star awards, the first Women's Leadership Awards, Member Federation Awards and Coaching Awards will also be presented at the Golden Tracks in Tallinn.
