Medals launched for European Athletics Junior Championships 2007

The Local Organising Committee of the European Athletics Junior Championships, Hengelo 2007, has launched the medal for the championships.

The medals, which were designed exclusively for the championships, are inclusive of the traditional Dutch tulip from the local organisation and the official logo of European Athletics.

For the championships, which will take place from 19 until 22 July, in Hengelo, the first three finishers in all 44 events will be presented with a gold, silver and bronze medal. Besides this, all participants and guests will receive a smaller replica of the medal as souvenir.

The medals are designed, and will be delivered by Hennie Wolters Sportservice, a partner of the Championship. An experienced runner, Hennie Wolters medals are used in the marathons of Rotterdam and Amsterdam as well as Duisburg, Hamburg and Köln.
