Media accreditation is now open for members of the press - written, television, radio and photographers - wishing to cover the European Race Walking Cup in Podebrady, Czech Republic on 21 May.
The accreditation form is available to download under ‘related documents’ and should be submitted to [email protected] by Sunday 30 April.
The last edition of the European Race Walking Cup was staged in Murcia, Spain two years ago. Miguel Angel Lopez highlighted the event with victory in his hometown over the 20km distance where he defeated soon-to-be world and Olympic 50km walk champion Matej Toth and world record-holder Yohann Diniz for the title.
The programme in Podebrady begins with the 50km walk at 8.00am local-time and concludes with the U20 women's 10km at 6.00pm.
