Considering the development of the political situation in Ukraine, European Athletics will host the 2015 European Cup Race Walking in Murcia, Spain. 
The competition, previously to be held in Ivano-Frankvisk, will take place on 17 May 2015.
The last time the European Cup Race Walking was held in 2013 in Dudince, Frenchman Yohann Diniz took the 50km as a prelude to his victory and world record at the European Athletics Championships in Zurich. 'I seem to be inspired by European Athletics competitions,' he said.
