2022 European 100m hurdles champion Pia Skrzyszowska has been announced for the 60m hurdles at the Meeting de l’Eure, a World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meeting, on 2 February.

The Meeting de l’Eure will be streamed live through the European Athletics website channel. More information about the streaming schedule for World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver, Bronze and Challenger events in Europe will be communicated later this week.

Skrzyszowska also picked up bronze medals last year at the World Athletics Indoor Championships and European Athletics Championships last summer, setting a 100m hurdles lifetime best of 12.42 in the latter final in Rome.

The Pole also has a lifetime best of 7.78 for the 60m hurdles which puts her equal tenth on the European indoor all-time list and an agonising 0.01 shy of the long-standing national record set by Zofia Bielczyk in 1980.

In the men’s 60m hurdles, former European indoor and outdoor champion Pascal Martinot-Lagarde and world and European indoor bronze medallist Just Kwaou-Mathey - both of whom are on the comeback trail from injuries - have also been confirmed by the organisers.

Other notable names to be recruited are European 5000m silver medallist George Mills from Great Britain in the 3000m while European bronze medallist Agathe Guillemot will be looking to improve her French indoor record of 4:29.02 in the mile.

From an international standpoint, world indoor champion Lazaro Martinez from Cuba has been confirmed for the triple jump.
