Ivana Spanovic and Yohann Diniz have been voted women's and men's European Athletes of the Month for March.
Voting for European Athlete of the Month changed from this month and took place place through our European Athletics Twitter and Facebook pages over 24 hours. Athletes with the most combined Twitter 'retweets' and Facebook 'likes' were crowned the winners.
Ivana Spanovic (SRB) flew out to a national record and winning mark of 6.98m at the European Athletics Indoor Championships on 7 March, the best distance by a European this year.
Spanovic was by far the women's winner for March with more than 5,200 Facebook votes and 800 retweets and favourites.
Yohann Diniz (FRA) set a 20km race walk world record of 1:17.02 at the French Championships in Arles on 8 March.
He received over 500 Facebook likes and over 50 retweets and favourites,
