Reigning European indoor champions Mujinga Kambundji and Jason Joseph and world indoor champion Simon Ehammer are part of Switzerland’s team of 20 for the Apeldoorn 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships from 6-9 March.
Kambundji clocked a fast 7.03 to win the 60m title at the Swiss Indoor Championships last weekend while Joseph sped to a 7.45 clocking to win in the 60m hurdles.
The team for Apeldoorn also features reigning world indoor heptathlon champion Simon Ehammer and European outdoor pole vault champion Angelica Moser who also won the European indoor title in Torun four years ago.
Two-time European outdoor medallist Ditaji Kambundji will also be targeting another medal in the 60m hurdles while two-time European U20 champion Audrey Werro is among the favourites for the 800m title in the absence of Keely Hodgkinson.
2022 European heptathlon bronze medallist Annik Kalin will be focusing on the long jump in Apeldoorn.
