Austria were third (193.5) and Serbia, who were relegated from First League, fourth (180.5). Slovakia finished fifth over Latvia (both with 179.5, but Slovakia had seven individual wins, Latvia five).
The relegated teams were both promoted from 2009: Moldova (150.5) and Israel (142.5).
The Swiss had three wins (young Mujinga Kambudji in the 200m in 24.20, Katharina Schmid in the Pole Vault with 4.30m and the women’s 4x400m relay 3:37.49.
World champion Blanka Vlasic cleared 1.94m to win the High Jump for Croatia, while Sandra Perkovic, after the Discus, claimed the Shot Put first place with 15.57m.
Jurica Grabusic won the 110m hurdles in an impressive 13.67 (-0.9), and Roland Varga claimed the Discus (62.24m against Austrian favourite Gerhard Mayer’s 61.16).
Latvian Vadim Vasilevskis achieved the best Javelin throw of the day from all leagues with 84.08m.
Ivana Spanovic leapt to a personal best and a Serbian under-23 record of 6.78m (+0.9) in the Long Jump.
Israeli Gezachw Yossef, meanwhile, clocked the fastest from all the slow 3000m races of the day (8:09.06).
Slovakia again scored three good wins: Dmitrij Valukevic in the Triple Jump with a season best 17.18 (+1.3), Dana Veldakova in the same event for women 14.33 (+2.4, 14.32 +1.3), which was postponed from Saturday, and in the men’s 4x400m (3:08.93).
Austria had Ryan Moseley winning the 200m (21.08, +0.2) and Victoria Schreibeis the 100m hurdles (13.19, -1.0).
The Serbians won the 800m with Goran Nava (1:51.74), 5000m with Olivera Jevtic (15:37.67), Tatjana Jelaca in the Javelin (58.54) and Dario Zivanovic in the steeplechase (8:57.87).
Moldova got two wins: Oxana Zhuravel in the 1500m (4:25.29) and Marina Marghieva in the Hammer (70.29). In this event, NCAA Champion Nikola Lomnicka of Slovakia was second (62.78) while Croatian record holder Ivana Brkljacic, who is now meet director of the Zagreb GP and ostensibly ended her professional career, achieved 61.42 for third).
Yevgeniy Olkhovskiy secured the only one win for Israel in the Pole Vault (5.15m).
