World indoor pole vault champion Molly Caudery and Olympic 1500m bronze medallist Georgia Hunter-Bell are among the standout names on the British team for the European Athletics Indoor Championships from 6-9 March.
Caudery cleared 4.80m to win world indoor gold on home soil in Glasgow last year and she is the joint European leader in 2025 with 4.75m.
After winning European silver and Olympic bronze in 2024, Hunter-Bell will be seeking her first major senior title in the 1500m in Apeldoorn. She is part of a strong British team in the middle distances which also includes Melissa Courtney-Bryant and George Mills who lead the 2025 European list in the women’s and men’s 3000m respectively with 8:28.69 and 7:27.92.
Two-time European U20 cross country champion Innes FitzGerald makes her senior championship debut in the 3000m. The 18-year-old smashed the European indoor U20 record earlier this month with 8:40.05.
The team also features Olympic finalist Amber Anning in the 400m and 4x400m and 2022 European 100m bronze medallist Jeremiah Azu in the 60m.
