It is less than three days to go until the start of the 23rd European Athletics Championships - and Schiphol Airport is going to be a busy place.
Athletes have already started arriving for one of the biggest sporting events of 2016 and they are being greeted by a special friend - the championships mascot Adam, the spray-painting lion.
One of those already in the Dutch capital is Ireland’s 10,000m runner Tara Jameson, who cannot wait to be out there on the track at the Olympic Stadium.
And she will not have to wait long as the women’s 10,000m final is the big track race of the opening evening on Wednesday.

It is set to be a fabulous week of action, with Jameson among a record number of 1473 athletes from 50 countries competing in the championships which run until Sunday 10 June.
Another who will thrive on being here is Great Britain triple jumper Nathan Douglas, who has quite an honour on his return to the top level.
Douglas was the silver medallist in Gothenburg 2006 but his career has been hit with injuries and Amsterdam is his first major championship since the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow 2014.
Prior to that he also missed out on a home Olympics in London 2012.
But after winning his fourth national title last weekend, he will be in Amsterdam determined to make his mark - and has been made British captain.

'It’s an honour and a privilege, especially for one of the biggest teams we have ever put together,' said Douglas, 33. 'Many are aware of the difficulties I have faced in the past – to be back, make the European team and be named captain is a very special moment.'
Britain has a 98-strong squad in Amsterdam…with many of the teams arriving in the next 24 hours as the days becomes hours and the hours become minutes until the action begins.
