The German national championships return to the Grundig Stadium in Nuremberg from 24-26 July after having hosted them back in 2008.
Apart from the opportunity to fight for the national titles athletes will also be aiming to qualify for this summer’s IAAF World Championships in Beijing.
Top German stars are expected to compete with David Storl, Christina Schwanitz, Christina Obergföll and Robert Harting leading the way.

The long jump event will for the first time be organised outside the stadium in the Nuremberg main square in the evening of Friday 24 July.
The city square grandstands will fit up to 4,000 spectators and admission will be free of charge on a first come first serve basis.
