Those entries arriving by the deadline will be judged by a European Athletics appointed jury, led by Council member Sylvia Barlag (NED), and the first prize will be presented at an awards ceremony during the European Athletics Convention in Baku in October.
Entries in five categories - Coaching, Technology, Promotion, Sustainability and Open - will be assessed for their quality and relevance to athletics.
The winning project in 2012, selected from a record entry of 46 from 21 countries, was called 'Ung:Leder – To Create the Volunteers of Tomorrow.' which was submitted by Charlotte Swensen of Norway.
The competition is open to all Europeans.
