Media accreditation is now open for the Espoo 2023 European Athletics U23 Championships.
The European Athletics U23 Championships take place from 13-16 July although the men’s and women’s 20km race walk events will be held on ‘Day 0’ at 6.00pm local time on Wednesday 12 July.

Transportation
The official arrival point for Espoo 2023 is the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (HEL).
On-site transportation will be provided to and from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and the official media hotel. Please make sure you insert your arrival and departure information in your accreditation application to guarantee transportation.
The LOC will also provide transportation to and from the designated media hotel and the competition venue, the Leppävaara Stadium, during the championships.
Times of the shuttle bus will be provided at the information desk in the media hotel.
Media hotel
The GLO Hotel Sello is the designated media hotel for Espoo 2023.

Media Centre
The Media Centre will be located at the Leppävaara Stadium.
Opening hours are as follows:
- Wednesday, 12 July: 10:00 – 22:00
- Thursday, 13 July: 8:30 – 24:00
- Friday, 14 July: 8:30 – 23:30
- Saturday, 15 July: 8:30 – 23:30
- Sunday, 16 July: 8:30 – 22:30
Visa information
Please be aware that participants from the following countries require visas to enter Finland:
- ARM – AZE – KOS* – TUR
*As defined by United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 of 10 June 1999.
The following nationalities are exempt from holding a visa:
- ALB* - BIH* - GEO* - MKD* - MDA* - MNE* - SRB** - UKR*
*The exemption shall apply only to holders of biometric passports.
**Excluding holders of Serbian passports issued by the Serbian Coordination Directorate (Koordinaciona uprava).
