There will be live streaming from World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver meetings in Banska Bystrica and Belgrade on Tuesday (13) evening.

This is how you can watch and a rundown of who will be in action.

Banskobystricka Latka High Jump

European bronze medallist Angelina Topic from Serbia, Great Britain’s world fourth-placer Morgan Lake and 2016 Olympic silver medallist Mirela Demireva from Bulgaria lead the European challenge in the women’s high jump at the famous high jump-only meeting in Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.

However, the athlete to beat is likely to be Australia’s Eleanor Patterson, the 2022 world outdoor champion. Patterson will be hoping to leave Banska Bystrica with better memories than last year when she was forced to withdraw from the competition with an ankle injury.

Also watch out for the youngest athlete in the field Liliana Batori from Hungary. The 16-year-old cleared a lifetime best of 1.87m to win the ‘B’ competition in Hustopece on Saturday and will rub shoulders with a field of established seniors in the main competition tomorrow. Batori is also likely to make a return trip to Banska Bystrica this summer for the European Athletics U18 Championships which take place in late July.

The men’s competition features South Korea’s reigning world indoor champion Sang-Hyeok Woo who equalled the world lead of 2.33m to finish second on countback in Hustopece on Saturday evening.

European silver and bronze medallists Tobias Potye from Germany and Ukraine’s Andriy Protsenko are also part of the 14-strong line-up along with fellow Ukrainian Oleh Doroshchuk and in-form Czech Jan Stefela who cleared an equal lifetime best of 2.30m for victory in Trinec last week.

Reigning European indoor champion Douwe Amels from the Netherlands also competes while reigning European U20 champion Melwin Lycke Holm from Sweden makes his debut at a meeting which his father Stefan, the 2004 Olympic champion, won on four occasions between 2003 and 2008.

Reigning world and joint Olympic champion Mutaz Essa Barshim, who set the meeting record of 2.40m at this meeting in 2015, has pulled out due to injury.

Belgrade Indoor Meeting

Despite the absence of reigning world and European champion Ivana Spanovic, Milica Gardasevic will have high hopes of landing a home victory in the long jump. However, standing in her way is European indoor silver medallist Larissa Iapichino from Italy.

The men’s shot put will be another highlight in the Serbian capital in which European champion Filip Mihaljevic goes head-to-head with former world indoor and outdoor champion Tom Walsh who finished second in Lievin on Saturday with 22.16m. Veteran Serbian shot putter Asmir Kolasinac, the European indoor champion in 2013, also competes.

On the track, Hungarian record-holder Boglarka Takacs will be looking for an outright victory in the 60m after winning by virtue of a dead-heat in Mondeville last week. The line-up also includes sub-11 100m performer Imani-Lara Lansiquot from Great Britain and Jamaica’s Christania Williams.

Switzerland’s European U23 silver medallist Lionel Spitz takes on Tony Van Diepen from the Netherlands in the men’s 400m while Romania’s former world U20 silver medallist Andrea Miklos is the big favourite in the women’s 400m having recently improved her indoor lifetime best to 51.23.

Serbian favourite Elzan Bibic has entered the men’s 1500m where he could challenge his Serbian indoor record of 3:37.84.

Two of Europe’s most exciting prospects will also be in action tomorrow. European U20 110m hurdles champion Enzo Diessl from Austria lines up in the 60m hurdles while Bulgaria’s multi-talented Bozhidar Saraboyukov, who won silver medals in both the long jump and triple jump at the European Athletics U20 Championships last summer, competes in the long jump.
