The 2014-2018 European Athletics Athletes’ Commission will be elected during the Zurich 2014 European Athletics Championships, with the vote being made by participating athletes.

The vote will take place from 9 to 16 August 2014 and all athletes must vote at stations located in their respective hotels.

The European Athletics Athletes’ Commission is composed of 8 members (4 women & 4 men), of which 6 (3 women & 3 men) will be elected in Zurich. 2 more members (1 woman & 1 man) shall be selected by European Athletics President Hansjörg Wirz.

The European Athletics Athletes’ Commission represents European elite athletes participating in top European events. The main task of the commission is to address and discuss all matters which are of concern to elite athletes in Europe.

The members of the commission will engage themselves actively in the issues of concern and report their work and proposals to the European Athletics Council.
