The IAAF Regional Development Centre in Moscow and the Russian State University for Physical Culture Sport and Tourism will celebrate the centenary of the famous Russian coach Nikolay Ozolin by staging a seminar for coaches entitled “Coaching in the XXIst Century” from the 2nd to 4th of March.
The list of outstanding coaches and sport scientists scheduled to address the seminar includes Dr Ekkart Arbeit (GER) and Prof Evegeny Arakelian (RUS) who will chair the seminar. Also scheduled to speak are three-time European champion and former world record holder Igor Ter-Ovanesian (RUS), Vladimir Popov (RUS), Sergy Portugalov (RUS) and Vitaly Shestakov (RUS).
The working languages of the seminar will be Russian and English and simultaneous translation will be provided.
The RDC will pay accommodation and food costs for one participating coach per EAA Member Federation. It will also reimburse travel expenses up to 500 US Dollars. Federations may send additional participants at their own expense (320 US Dollars plus travel).
