As mentioned above, we do this in cooperation with World Athletics, who are Penceo's direct contractual partners. We have concluded a corresponding contract with WA to ensure the lawful processing of your data.

We use the data for the performance of a contract with us (Art 6 para 1lit. b GDPR) and in particular
- to ensure eligibility requirements as an athlete, team member or in an official capacity at one of our events in accordance with the statutes of EA, one of our member federations or in accordance with an individual contract between you and EA or one of our member federations.
- to create a personalized profile page for you in our e-learning system, via which you can adjust your data yourselves at any time and reuse it for future courses.
Furthermore we use the data to meet our legitimate interests (Art 6 para 1lit. b GDPR), especially
- to ensure the functionality and security of the e-learning platform and in particular to prevent identity misuse and fraud, for example, to ensure that certificates are issued only to qualified persons.
